Gwendolyn Beetham

Gwendolyn Beetham is the Director of the Global Village at Douglass Residential College, the women’s college at Rutgers University. She has worked for women’s research institutes and gender justice organizations around the world and has taught gender studies at the London School of Economics, Rutgers University, and Brooklyn College. She is the co-editor of the four volume collection Gender, Poverty and Development (Routledge, 2014), Assistant Editor of University of Venus, and curator of “The Academic Feminist” at Feministing.com. She has a PhD from the Gender Institute at the London School of Economics.
