Fatimah Jackson-Best

Fatimah Jackson-Best is a healthcare researcher, advocate, academic and writer. Her PhD research project used qualitative methods and feminist theories to explore women’s maternal mental health in Barbados. She has also been the Coordinator of the Caribbean Institute in Gender and Development: An Intensive Training Programme since 2011. The programme brings men and women from across the Caribbean to Barbados to be immersed in feminist theories, development concepts, and gender-based analysis.
